I always knew that grad school would be busy, but now that I’ve had the first meetings of all my classes, and seen all the syllabi, I can quantify just how busy I’m going to be. The answer is very. I have no class on Thursday or Friday but it’s clear now that I’m going to need those days to work on projects and assignments. If I had no experience in managing my time, this could be pretty overwhelming. Luckily, I do have such experience, and so I have tools (tangible and otherwise) ready to help me stay on top of the work.
